LEHENG “TENNY” XU  |   Law Clerk

Leheng “Tenny” Xu pursued successfully a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at Washington University School of Law and LL.M. Degree in Jurisprudence at Fudan University Law School in Shanghai, China. Her diverse learning background enriches her legal perspectives and provides her with a comprehensive understanding of U.S. commercial law practice. She joined KAZANAS LC Law Firm as a law clerk and upon becoming licensed to practice law as an Attorney will be representing both commercial and corporate clients.

As a research assistant at Washington University in St. Louis, Tenny supported two professors in conducting legal research and analysis on various topics from regulatory takings to eminent domain. She also acquired legal experience in China as a litigation assistant at the HanSheng Law Offices where she conducted an in-depth analysis to identify potential legal risks associated with construction contracts and presented practical recommendations to mitigate those risks.

In addition to Tenny’s work experience, she excelled in legal research and oral presentation and was awarded the Third Prize in the Oral Advocacy Moot Court Competition and top finalist in the Client Counseling Competition at Washington University.

Tenny is fluent in English, as well as, Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese). On a personal level, she enjoys watching movies, and her hobbies include photography, dancing, and drawing.
