Amanda Kirkpatrick-Vilanova successfully earned her Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University (NIU) School of Law in 2024; exceptionally, Amanda completed her law school studies as a summa cum laude graduate, which means “with highest honor” – an academic award designated for law students in the top 1-5% of a law school class.

Amanda joined KAZANAS LC Law Firm as a law clerk and upon becoming licensed to practice law, she will become one of this law firm’s integral Attorneys. Amanda will be representing clients in her main areas of legal interest: business transactions and commercial litigation, estate planning, and real estate law. 

During law school, Amanda had the opportunity to be employed with two different private practices where she discovered her fondness for business law and estate planning. Amanda was also bestowed the honor and privilege while a law student to be granted an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 License to practice law for the NIU Business Law Innovation Clinic where she represented small businesses and startups in business formation transactions.

Amanda, a former NCAA Division 1 Athlete, enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching Grey’s Anatomy, and playing pickleball. She is passionate about helping others, and with no doubt, she is eager to help you.
